At an altitude of 1,950 meters, in the heart of the Sesto Dolomites, the Rudi Hut has been welcoming guests for more than 60 years.
What once began as a simple sheep shelter has, over generations, become a beloved stop for hikers and skiers.

Today, the hut is run by son Andreas together with his wife Caroline, supported by Rudi and Flora, who continue to lend their experience and helping hands.

In addition to varied hiking trails, you can also reach the Rudi-Hütte by bike or very comfortably with the Rotwand cable car during the warmer months.

At the Rudi-Hütte, we serve traditional Tyrolean dishes, prepared by hand and with heart, using regional ingredients.


A special highlight is our signature aperitif, inspired by the Sesto Dolomites and the scents of the Rotwand meadows.​

Whether in summer or winter, the starting points for your hikes and the lift facilities around the Rotwand meadows are easily accessible by bus or car.

Parking is available at each starting point.
